In this modern day imagining of the Frankenstein story, love is a vicious commodity that involves sacrifice, murder, friendship, lust and betrayal. Michael Beh's new play "Beautiful Frankenstein" takes audiences on a sumptuous journey weaving Mary Shelley's Frankenstein myth though the real life drama of the Romantic poets and the women that they exploited.
But this monster is a new Adam, sensual, naive and cloned, provoking our understanding of the sublime and nature of man.
